I write poetry; my most recent book is The Greenhouse, the poems in which David Baker called "profound, fundamental works, born of a deep interiority and making their intricate ways, phrase by phrase, toward a design both organic and artful.” My next book, Annihilation, includes poems about traumatic haircuts, licking batteries, writing Anna Karenina in frosting, flaming swords, and incipient crone-rage. With partner-in-literary-crime Virginia Bellis, I cohost the quarterly reading series Lilla Lit (lillalit.com) at Leach Botanical Garden in SE Portland, and Literary Bingo at Lit Crawl PDX.
