Kickstand Comedy's Lit-Mondo creates hilarious live improv comedy scenes inspired by literature and poetry! Watch as performers create instant comedy on-the-spot just by listening to the beautiful writing, combing through the themes and ideas to create comedic gold!

Featured authors include: Kimberly King Parsons and Ryan Chapman!

Kimberly King Parsons is the author of the short story collection Black Light (Vintage), long listed for the 2019 National Book Award, and the novel The Boiling River, forthcoming from Knopf. A recipient of fellowships from Columbia University and the Sustainable Arts Foundation, her fiction has been published in The Paris Review, Best Small Fictions 2017, Black Warrior Review, No Tokens, Kenyon Review, and elsewhere. She lives with her partner and sons in Portland, OR, where she is completing a novel about Texas, motherhood, and LSD.

Ryan Chapman is a Sri Lankan-American writer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. His work has appeared online at The New Yorker, GQ, Bookforum, BOMB, Guernica, McSweeney’s, and The Believer. He is a recipient of fellowships from Vermont Studio Center and the Millay Colony for the Arts. He lives in upstate New York. "Riots I Have Known" is his first novel.
